NERVS update

Hi All,

We're currently traveling through southern Africa and only have intermittent internet and USGS notification access. Regrettably, the largest Bay Area quake in 25 years struck during this time. Hopefully you and your loved ones have not sustained substantial damage to health or property.

According to seismologists, the chance of a larger earthquake in the same general region statistically increases rather than decreases in the short-term. We haven't accessed any local news coverage, but no doubt preparation for a future event is being encouraged.
